The terms you accept by using this site: what the guide is, what it is not, where the information comes from, and where the responsibility for a booking decision actually sits.

What this site is

ZhangjiajiePark.com is an independent travel guide to Zhangjiajie, Wulingyuan and the scenic areas around them. It is not affiliated with Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, with any of the scenic-area operators, or with any government tourism authority. It is not an official site, it cannot act for any of them, and it cannot sell you a ticket.

Using the site means accepting what follows. If you do not, the remedy is simply not to use it.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information published for planning purposes. It is not professional advice — not legal, not immigration, not medical, not financial — and it is not a substitute for checking with the authority that actually decides.

Two areas where that distinction has teeth:

Entry rules. Visa-free schemes are changed by government decision, sometimes at very short notice, and at least one of the schemes covered here has a stated end date inside the next twelve months. Whether you personally may enter China is decided by a Chinese embassy or consulate, not by a page on this site. Confirm with them before you book anything.

Prices, opening times and operating status. These are set by operators and by provincial pricing decisions, and they change. A cable car listed as running can be closed for maintenance by the time you arrive.

How we handle facts we cannot confirm

Figures on this site come from official sources wherever an official source exists, and the date each one was last checked is shown next to it.

Where an official source does not exist, or could not be reached, we say so rather than repeating the number that circulates online. You will see this on several of the most-searched figures on the site. It is deliberate: an unconfirmed number that looks confident is worse than an admitted gap, because a gap sends you to check and a confident wrong number does not.

So: treat every figure here as a starting point to verify, not as a guarantee. Confirm current prices and opening times with the operator or the ticketing platform before you rely on them.

Some pages carry links to travel booking platforms, and we may earn a commission on bookings made through them, at no extra cost to you. The full account of which links, how they are marked and what the commission does not affect is in the affiliate disclosure.

Anything you book is a contract between you and that platform or supplier, on their terms, subject to their cancellation and refund rules. We are not a party to it. We do not take payments, hold reservations, issue tickets or arrange travel, and we cannot intervene when something goes wrong with a booking — that has to go to the company you paid.

Links to external sites are given because they are useful. We do not control what they publish and are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and current, and the process by which we do that is written down and public — but we do not warrant that everything on it is complete, correct or up to date at the moment you read it, and we do not warrant that the site is available without interruption.

To the fullest extent the applicable law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on anything published here, from anything you booked through a link, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in this section excludes liability that the law does not permit to be excluded.

Content

The text, structure and original graphics of this site belong to its operator. You are welcome to quote a passage with a link back. Republishing pages or substantial parts of them, or using them to train or populate another site, is not permitted without permission.

Place names in Chinese, official figures and the documents cited as sources belong to their own rights holders and are used here as references.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we would rather know. Write to [email protected] with the page and the source that contradicts it. Factual corrections are made on the page, and the revision date at the foot of it moves when they are.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as the site develops. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the foot of it is when it was last changed. Continuing to use the site after a revision means accepting the revised version.
